JEALOUS Boy

So today was a cr@zy day of jealousy. Don't know what was different about today, than other days. From the time I picked Kaylon up from school until he fell asleep to me playing with his hair, he had to be in my lap. Of course, when Kolbie would start to even coo, he would run up to me with his arms up for me to hold him instead. I was sitting in our recliner feeding Kolbie her bottle, while Kaylon crawled from one side of my lap to the other, over and over again until he finally got comfortable laying ON TOP of his sister. I would be happy to say he was loving on her, but this time I'm not so sure. She handles it like a trooper though. Its pretty amazing how resilient a 10 week old can be. She is already used to him pulling on her to give her kisses, and laying on her to give hugs. Check this picture out.



I took it from my phone so it's a little blurry, but this is what Kaylon look like after he is proud of himself for loving on his baby sister, and this is what Kolbie looks like while she's tolerating him. Pretty cute huh. Maybe sometime soon we will schedule Mommy and son time. We both miss it.

Goodness gracious!

2 months old

Our sister bear is 2 MONTHS OLD today! She is getting bigger and bigger everyday! Kolbie started off in preemie clothes and diapers, ran through newborn size, and is currently in 0-3 months and size 1 diapers! She is a healthy girl, that's for sure. She mostly eats 3oz every 3 hours, but on occasion she will eat 4oz. We have been sleeping 8 full hours most nights, and more often than not here lately Big Brother Kaylon has been waking me up first! What in the world?!
Speaking of Big Brother Kaylon...he loves his baby sister to death! He kisses her all the time! When she is fussy, he searches the house to find her binky and brings it to her. SO sweet. He does get jealous though. He knows when she gets fussy, I'm going to hold her. After he gives her the binky, he'll turn to me with his arms in the air so I'll pick him up instead. Smart guy...!
